What a Whirlwind!
It was a busy weekend. We had a lot of fun and I'm sure my neice and nephew are absolutely pooped out! We also got a chance to get together with my brother-in-law's family which means a lot of other boys for the kids to play with. Miss I totally hit it of with Little Big Man M. They played the whole time we were over at the Fawn's house.... no arguing, no "I wanna do this not that" just a lot of busy playtime. Miss S even got in on it too for a bit. There was also a dog in the house for Miss S to warm up to. That took quite a while but finally she took to Jake.

Santa sent us a message!!!!
Good morning!
Is everyone ready for Christmas yet? It’s less than 2 weeks away and I think we are all caught up… now to get everything wrapped.
It never fails. I lock myself in the bedroom when the kids are very busy with something else and immediately they come running looking for me. Ok so you are thinking “Oh well, you at least have the door locked.” Yes. That is correct and is fine… until they start peeking under the door through the crack! NO PEEKING! Oh I can’t wait until Christmas!
I’m hoping the kids like what Santa brings for them this year! Speaking of the big jolly fella… we got our email video from Santa! The girls loved it! Want to know how to get your email video from Santa? Well, I put in a quick (2 minute) order with some elves here and they sent it right away! The girls were impressed that Santa had pictures of what they did this year (and even had a birthday photo of Sofia which happened 1 week before our email arrived!) Hurry up and get yours sent!

Fun Christmas Crafts
We all get super busy this time of year and who couldn't use a distracting craft for the kidlets to do while you sneek off to hide those presents you wrapped? Well, here are some great links for easy crafts for the kiddies.
The Party Planning Center blog has an adorable little Christmas tree craft for the kids. It's so cute and colourful! It's very similar to the trees we used on the table at Sofia's birthday.
Creativemamma.com has this fun little project. Let the kids colour some decorations and then do a scavenger hunt. But make sure they don't accidentally find those gifts you are trying so hard to hide!
Have your kids sent their letters to Santa yet? Mine already have and we got our letters from Santa the other day! Canada Post is so great! They allow you to actually mail a letter to Santa and they have busy little elves who make sure Santa gets his letters and replies to all the special little children who write to him.
Mail your letters to:
SANTA CLAUS
NORTH POLE
H0H 0H0
CANADA
Why not make your letters to Santa that much more special with Blush Printables' letter to Santa printable.
The Santa's Corner website also has a lot of other fun things for the kids to do as well.
And why not spread some joy to the neighbourhood? ELF your neighbours and get the jolly rolling through the streets. Use these printables by Anders Ruff when leaving your ELF gifts.
Well, there you have it. crafts for the kidlets, and a little jolly for the neighbours.... I love this time of year!!!

Spunky Dresses for Holiday Fun!
It is almost time for the Christmas season and I'm sure some moms are frantically trying to find a cute outfit for holiday photos or Christmas parties and concerts... well, look no further than Blue Moon Designs.
A while ago I bought some super cute dresses from Blue Moon Design on Etsy and was totally impressed! They were well made, easy to wash and what's more important... my girls loved them!
I bought 2 matching dresses, both bright red, light blue and white with a few other hints of colour (see photo). The dress on the left is the one I bought for Miss Bella and Miss S's dress was very similar to the one on the right.I suggest going with a dress like the left one and the top photo. It's nice and roomy and will grow a bit longer with your wee one... plus, it TWIRLS great! I see they have added some great holiday patterns to their shop so hurry up and order yours! You want it shipped in time for the holidays!

New Kids on the Block!
Something for those who like something fun. We did the girls letters to Santa with this one.
This one is for those who like traditional with a twist!
For those who like a cool modern look.
And this one is just fun. The colours are so bright... like candy canes!

Thursday's Thoughts
Wow! Can you believe there are only 51 days and 14 hours (and a few minutes) until Christmas!!!
October flew by so fast! Heck the whole year flashed before my eyes! Now I really have to get on making Miss S's 3rd birthday party pack! I only have a month and a handful of days for that!So we have decided to buy this little gadget for the girls for Christmas. I pick it up today. I think I am going to play around with it a little bit to decide if we are getting a second one for DD#1 or if we are going to get a Nintendo DSi or iPod Touch instead. I'm kind of leaning towards getting 2 of these so DDs don't fight but on the other hand they will eventually grow out of them. I like the learning aspect to this system. Do any of my readers have one of these at home??? Suggestions? Suggestions for games for girls??
We already put the word out that we don't want a lot of toys for Christmas and that we were getting one of these so people could get games for it instead. Our girls have so many toys that they never play with... I think the local New-to-You shop will be receiving a bag of plushies before Christmas hits!
I've also been busy whipping up a few hats before Christmas. One very special little girl who was diagnosed with a rare leukemia got this (see below) super cute blue, pink and purple hat yesterday from a thoughtful relative. Hope it brightens her spirits. My daughter Miss S (seen below) sure loved it!I also sold this little purple hat to another little cutie in town. So cute to see other people's wee ones walking around with something you made with your own hands.
I have a couple of cute little earflap hats waiting to find some good homes and cute little girls to enjoy...I'm not filling an order for a little man and his big sis... it's a fun order for me because it is for a MONSTER HAT and a flower beanie. I don't have little boys so this monster hat is fun for me... DD1 or 2 might have to get a new pink version this Christmas. I'll post some photos when I get them finished!
Anyways, don't forget to get a jumpstart on your holiday greeting orders! Here's a few little gems you might like!
