Spooktacular Haunted Ideas

Anyone getting in the crafty moody these days? I am... infact, I'm getting my hands dirty this evening carving pumpkins with the girls. Who doesn't love getting in that squishy slimy mess... it just screams Halloween. Last year the girls didn't even want to touch the insides of the pumpkin so we'll see how it goes this year.

I've been all excited about Halloween this year. When we lived in Italy the last 2 1/2 years we missed out on the festivities and trick-or-treating as they don't really celebrate it over there. Carnivale is their big dress up holiday.

We have our costumes (thanks the my niece Miss M) and we have our window clings up (I have some new ones for the girls to put up tonight). I bought some cool Halloween socks and some book for treat bags (because they get enough candy elsewhere I figured).

Anyways, I was checking my email and saw this cool idea in my inbox. On the CK blog, they have a cool tutorial on how to make a super cool haunted house out of scrapping paper. It's so cute, it's almost pretty! So what are you waiting for? Click on the pict to go to the link page! Happy crafting!

  1. Having seen your post on the Blogging Buddies forum earlier, have decided to visit to see what you get up to! As a Brit who went to Canada and then came back again, am interested to hear what happens when you come back to Canada from far-away places!

Will be following you: hope you'll return the favour by visiting www.ColdhamCuddliescalling.blogspot.com as well as perhaps visiting my shop at www.coldhamcuddlies.etsy.com. They're all about toys and how they are made, mended and otherwise created.

All the best - and enjoy Hallow'een!

  2. I am amazed of all the projects that are not scrapbook related that people do with scrapbook paper. I've even seen people decoupage scrapbook paper on furniture! Thanks for this cute idea!
