Tea Party Inspiration

Well, we've made it past that nasty cold snap last week and now I'm all stuffed up with a cold. Infact my whole family is. Yuck. I need some vitamin C and a good hot tea to make me feel better.... speaking of tea....

I'm inspired by a little invite we have in the shop that has been oh so ever popular the past little while.

It's been so cold outside so why not celebrate the fact you are stuck in the house where it's warm and throw a cute little tea party? I'm sure if you have a little princess or two running around your house, they will be oh so excited about this event!

Jump down the Rabbit Hole with me to be inspired by these wonderful items I found on Etsy to make your Tea Party Celebration absolutely FABULOUS!

And the finger sandwiches need a little bling to sit on too don't you think?

Sunday Morning Serenity

I'm totally relaxing today! Last night we had an awesome "Belated Christmas Party Supper" for work and went to the wonderful Bruce Hotel for a mouth watering steak and shrimp supper and buffet. These people know how to cook! We've heard people from the city excited about booking a reservation way out in the hicks for a yummy Friday night steak supper. See this place only does supper on Friday nights and occasionally on Saturday nights too and these people are always BOOKED UP! There's like a waiting list. This place is uber hick and it rocks. Old record cases framed and mounted on the wals, old milk cann, old furniture and some of the tables are even made from the old pedal sewing machine bases.

Anyways, we all had a great time and filled our bellies to maximum capacity so today I'm laying around doing nothin!

I thought I could pop over here as it's been a while since I wrote a little ditty on here....

Not too much new. We added a cute BUG invitation to the shop and I bet you could make the most adorable party for any girls or boys!

Here it is! Have a great Sunday!
Here is a little Valentine's Freebie for everyone. Use them as cupcake topers or tags!

New Year, New Habits... I Hope!

So the New Year has come and gone and with it brings everyone making New Year's resolutions.... have you made any? I haven't really but the past few days I've had this urge to organize things.

I bought bins to clean up the hats and scarves and mitts in the porch and bought bins to contain our beauty products on the bathroom and one to contain my small cluster of stuff accumulating infront of my computer. See, organization does not come naturally to me. I have what I like to call (don't snicker!) an artistic brain. I have my little clusters of things but can usually tell you where everything can be found... even over the phone and my husband can account for it!

Today I purchased a little zipper pouch on Etsy to wrangle up some of the clutter in my purse. I'm a purse-a-holic and have many styles but it never fails that you find a purse with little pockets for everything.... but the everything is just a tad bit too big to stay in those nice little pockets. Things are flying whichway and that in my purse and it's becoming more and more difficult to find things like lip gloss and kleenex when you need it. I thought little pouches would be a good idea on containing the jungle that's growing in my purse. I mean I have one already for my cell phones and Ipod and one for my hard drive I carry with me sometimes. Why not one for my kleenex and makeup-y things. This is the pretty little pouch I got this morning from Heart 2 Handbags... now I can't wait for it to arrive!

I'm hoping this need for organization takes over more this year. I could use a bit more organization in my life.

So what is your resolution for 2012?
